Optional browser-level visit statistics

After you choose “Allow statistics”, we store a random browser ID locally to connect visits from the same browser. The ID rotates after 90 days. Clearing storage or using another device creates a new ID. We do not fingerprint devices, and a browser ID does not identify a person.

Each public page load sends a random event ID, browser ID, visit ID, page path without query strings or fragments, device category, browser family, and referrer category such as Google or direct. The server records the time in Thailand time. This table does not store full referrer URLs, search terms, names, email addresses, IP addresses or game boards. A new visit starts after 30 minutes without detected activity.

Only the administrator can read the reports, which cover at most 90 days. Older rows are deleted on new ingestion, so expired records may remain until the next request. Use “Visitor statistics settings” in the footer to stop sending events and remove local IDs. This does not immediately delete previously sent data. Browser-level statistics honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. This choice is separate from advertising, Cloudflare Web Analytics and aggregate game metrics.

Game data on your device

We use browser localStorage to remember boards, notes, what-if cases, elapsed time, points, statistics, language and settings, including advertising preferences. This persists until you or your browser remove it. No player account is required. Google, Facebook and Microsoft game synchronization is not currently available.

Clearing site data also removes saved games and statistics on that device. Private browsing data may disappear when you close the window.

Connections and advertising rewards

Cloudflare hosts the website and may process IP addresses, browser information, requests and technical logs to deliver and secure it, under the Cloudflare privacy policy. Administrator sign-in is separate from playing.

When you request an advertising reward, the server receives the relevant board and cell. It stores a board hash, reward information and an ad session valid for 10 minutes. Expired sessions are deleted when a new session starts, so they may remain stored after expiry until another request. A one-day sudokuy-reward cookie binds sessions to the browser. Aggregate ad starts and rewards are also kept for the administrator.

Visitor and game metrics

Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled to report visits, page views, referrers and page performance. Read about Cloudflare Web Analytics.

Game metrics send only a random per-game ID, a start, completion or hint event, and the puzzle type, size and level. The server assigns a date in Thailand time. Events do not send board values, solutions, names or email addresses, and our game-metrics table does not store IP addresses. The random ID stays with the saved game to prevent duplicate counting. Reports cover at most 90 days. Older events are deleted when a new event arrives, so expired records may remain until that request.

Game-event reporting honors browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. This does not change local game saving.

Google and advertising providers

When advertising is enabled, Google and other vendors may use cookies to serve ads based on visits to this website or other websites. Advertising cookies let Google and its partners tailor ads using previous visits. Providers may receive connection information when their ad content loads.

Read how Google uses information from partner sites. Manage personalized advertising at My Ad Center or explore choices for participating vendors at AboutAds.

Manage preferences and cookies

The game footer has an Advertising preferences button. It allows or refuses loading external banners; the default is refusal. Refusal does not block the game. Starting a rewarded ad is a separate choice for that session. If a Google or other provider consent message is displayed, manage its choices there as well.

Changing a preference does not delete cookies already set by providers. Manage or delete cookies in your browser settings and use provider controls for information held by those providers.

When you contact us

Emailing us shares your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send, so we can handle your inquiry. Messages are held in the owner’s Gmail service under the Google privacy policy. We do not automatically add you to marketing lists.

You can ask about, correct or request deletion of your messages through the contact address. We may need to confirm that you own the messages. The website has not set a fixed retention period for emails or service-provider logs.
