Sudoku-Y

How we research and write this library

Sudoku-Y is a browser Sudoku game with a learning library. These pages are compiled with AI assistance for research, drafting and translation. They have not been reviewed by a named human Sudoku expert.

Sources and original work

We consult specialist descriptions from Nikoli, SudokuWiki and HoDoKu, then explain the mathematical ideas in our own structure and language. Each technique article links to its references. We do not reproduce their puzzles, illustrations or full articles. Our numerical examples are newly constructed teaching scenarios, explicitly labeled as partial rather than playable full grids.

What we check

Automated checks cover the pair, pointing and X-Wing example deductions, counterexamples, internal links, language alternatives and sitemap coverage. This supports consistency; it is not a substitute for expert review. The library states whether a technique is currently available in the game’s scanner.

Dates and revisions

Each article shows its actual publication or content-update date. Routine site deployments do not refresh that date. When we revise an explanation, we update the content and its date together.

Reading across sources

Terminology and grading scales vary. Our board uses rows A–I; some sources skip I and use J. Compare coordinates before following an outside example. Difficulty labels on different websites are not directly interchangeable.
